Shuttle Service Monday, September 8

If you are traveling by train, a shuttle bus will be available from Alkmaar Station to Zuiderduin between 11:30 AM and 12:30 PM. Look for the ECTI Conference signs in the bus window to find the shuttle bus.

Please note: the shuttle departs from the side opposite the city center (not the city center side and not the regular bus terminal).

Alternatively, you can take bus 165 from Alkmaar Station, which departs every 30 minutes. Get off at Stop Zeeweg, Egmond aan Zee. From there, it’s just a 1-minute walk to the hotel.

The shuttle operates regularly between the station and the hotel. If it is not there immediately, you may need to wait a short while.

Traveling from Schiphol Airport

Taxi - From the airport, Hotel Zuiderduin can be reached by taxi in approximately 45 minutes. At Schiphol, great taxi services are available. Reservations are not required. Note: To avoid scammers, make sure to grab your cab at the airport's official taxi rank at Schiphol Plaza (route indicated by signs at the arrival halls) and do not accept any taxi rides that are offered to you unsolicitedly.

Please note that taxis in the Netherlands can be quite expensive. Fortunately, public transportation is well-organized, safe, and efficient, and is often a more affordable and convenient option for reaching Egmond aan Zee.

Public Transport -Travel time by public transport ranges between 1 and 2 hours, with most routes requiring at least two transfers. A quick route (approximately 1 hour and 5 minutes) between Schiphol Airport and Hotel Zuiderduin is as follows: from Schiphol train station, take the NS Sprinter train towards Amsterdam Centraal and get off at Amsterdam Sloterdijk. At Sloterdijk, transfer to the NS Intercity train towards Alkmaar. From Alkmaar Station, continue your journey by taking bus 165 in the direction of Egmond aan Zee and get off at Busstation, Egmond aan Zee. From there, it is about a 5-minute walk to the hotel.

By car - For detailed car directions, please go to Hotel Zuiderduin's website. At the hotel, free parking is offered based on availability. Parking facilities can be used from 1 p.m. on the day of arrival, until 12 p.m. on the day of departure. Paid parking outside of hotel grounds is also possible.
